SARAPIN®: Safe, effective, Nature-derived Pain Relief

For over 70 years, SARAPIN® has been used safely and effectively for the treatment of a variety of painful syndromes and neuralgia, including:

Adverse Reactions

Patient should be maintained in a recumbent position for 10 to 15 minutes following injection. A local sensation is to be expected, limited to the distribution of the nerve injected, and usually appearing as a temporary feeling of heaviness, although some cases will feel heat or a transitory aggravation of symptoms.

Dosage

Thee amount of SARAPIN® to be injected depends on the size and location of the area being treated. For paravertebral nerve injection, the following doses are suggested:
Cervical …………………………….2-3 cc
Thoracic …………………………….5-10 cc
Lumbar………………………………5-10 cc
Sacral ………………………………..3-5 cc

SARAPIN® is supplied in 50 cc multi-dose vials.

In Sciatic nerve trunk injections, 10 cc may be used. An average dose for local injection into painful areas is 5 cc, but 10 cc may be required for large areas.

SARAPIN® is nontoxic and does not result in any discernable systemic reactions. A local sensation is to be expected, limited to the distribution of the nerve injected, and usually appearing as a temporary feeling of heaviness, although some cases will feel heat or a transitory aggravation of symptoms. SARAPIN® has no known contraindications.
